This policy covers this website and the enquiries we take by phone. The website part is unusually short, because the site is built in a way that collects almost nothing.

What this website is
This is a static website. Every page is a fixed HTML document served as-is. There are no contact forms, no accounts, no logins, no shopping basket and no comment fields, so there is nowhere on this site to submit personal information to us and no database of visitors behind it.
What we do not collect through this site
- We do not set cookies. Nothing on our pages writes to cookie storage, local storage or session storage.
- We do not run analytics. There is no analytics tag, no measurement script and no visitor counter of any kind.
- We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels, and we do not sell, rent or share visitor information, because we do not gather any to share.
- We do not use tracking scripts from social networks, and there are no social embeds on the site.
- There is no newsletter and no mailing list.
Hosting and server logs
Like effectively every website, the server that delivers these pages may keep standard technical logs — for example the IP address making a request, the page requested, the time, and the browser's user-agent string. Those logs are created by the hosting infrastructure for security and reliability, not by anything we have added to the pages, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.

The map on the homepage
The homepage includes an embedded Google map showing our location, and a directions link that opens Google Maps. The map is loaded lazily, so it is only requested if you scroll far enough down the page to reach it — but once it loads, your browser connects to Google and Google receives information about that request in the normal way, subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy rather than ours.
This is the only third-party connection the site makes. If you never scroll to the map and never follow the directions link, the site makes no third-party requests at all.
Information you give us on the phone
When you call, we take what is needed to understand the job and carry it out: typically your name, the phone number you are calling from, the property address, and a description of the tree and the site. If work goes ahead we keep those details as an ordinary business record of the job.
We use that information to answer your enquiry, schedule and perform the work, and keep records of work we have done. We do not use it for marketing to you, and we do not pass it to anyone else except where it is genuinely necessary to carry out the work you have asked for, or where we are required to by law.
Children
This site is aimed at property owners and managers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.
Asking about your information
If you want to know what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, call the number on this page or write to the address below. We will need enough detail to identify the right record — usually the property address and roughly when the work was discussed.
Because the phone is our only contact channel, requests come to us by phone or by post rather than by email.

Changes to this policy
If the site changes in a way that affects this policy — if a contact form is ever added, for example, or analytics introduced — this page will be updated before that change goes live, and the date below will change with it.
